ArmInfo. A five-day seminar on "Cybersecurity Risk Management" is currently taking place in Yerevan, led by specialists from Carnegie Mellon University.
Following the seminar, it is planned to develop an action plan for establishing a cybersecurity system. Specifically, the seminar focuses on three main areas: establishing a national information security risk management system in compliance with the European Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2), developing necessary tools and guidelines for its implementation, and enhancing professional competencies in the public sector, critical infrastructure, and the digital economy.
During the five-day discussions, participants will have the opportunity to learn about international standards, develop risk assessment models, and identify educational priorities in this area. Special emphasis will be placed on mapping tasks, knowledge, and skills (Tasks, Knowledge, and Skills) to ensure that educational programs align with labor market requirements.
