ArmInfo. Armenian producers will soon need HALAL certificates to export meat to Oman, according to the press service of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia (FSI).
"Considering the importance of stimulating trade between the Republic of Armenia and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as the Omani interest in importing Armenian agricultural products, including meat, we inform you that, effective June 1, 2027, Armenian businesses engaged in the production and export of meat products will be required to have HALAL certificates issued by bodies accredited by the Oman Food Safety and Quality Center," the source stated.
It should be noted that, according to the latest data from the Armenian Customs Service (for the first half of 2025), Oman is not listed among Armenia's export markets.
