
ArmInfo. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan visited the Shirak poultry farm, where he learned about the $250 million investment program.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy, the company's planned investment is $250 million, of which over $60 million has already been realized.
"The program will be implemented on a 420-hectare area in various regions of the republic. If the entire project is completed, it is expected to create 2,500 jobs, 750 of which will be in Shirak. 300 jobs have already been created. The project is expected to increase production volumes, ensuring the output of approximately 100 tons of poultry and 15-20 tons of pork per day.
The poultry produced will cover Armenia's entire reserves, and some will be exported. The company currently produces 400,000 eggs per day," the Armenian Ministry of Economy stated.
