RA State Revenue Committee  launches ExIm platform to simplify  foreign trade procedures

ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia (SRC) has officially launched the ExIm information platform. The project was implemented  at the initiative of the SRC with the support of the German  government and through the German Society for International  Cooperation (GIZ), in accordance with the requirements of the Trade  Facilitation Agreement.

The platform is a unified information system based on digital  solutions and designed for participants in foreign economic activity  (FEA),  to improve the predictability and efficiency of export and  import processes.

ExIm operates as a  "one stop shop" platform, consolidating all  information related to FEA in one place.  This means that businesses  can obtain the necessary data on export, import, and transit  procedures in a systematized and understandable format, without  having to search for information from various government agencies and  sources. The platform is available in three languages.

SRC Chairman Eduard Hakobyan noted that the launch of the platform is  an important milestone in the agency's digital transformation and  international cooperation agenda. He stated that the vision is based  on the ambitious goal of positioning Armenia as a regional and global  technology and logistics hub. He emphasized the desire to create a  system in which digitalization and integration of customs and tax  processes will eliminate artificial barriers and ensure a  contactless, transparent, and predictable environment. According to  Hakobyan, ExIm is a practical embodiment of this approach and aligns  with the principles of the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA),  eliminating information barriers. He also emphasized that efforts to  modernize customs cooperation will continue, adding that this marks  only the beginning of broader reforms, including the planned  introduction of artificial intelligence tools in customs  administration.
