ArmInfo. Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan today received a delegation led by Elisabetta Falcetti, Executive Director  for Turkey and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction  and Development (EBRD).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of joint  programs. In particular, they touched upon the North-South Transport  Corridor construction program, as well as projects in the water and  transport sectors. The parties also touched upon the Kotayk and  Gegharkunik Solid Waste Management program, which is already  operational. In this regard, Khudatyan and Falcetti explored the  possibility of implementing this model in other regions of the  country. According to the ministry's press service, during the  meeting, the minister emphasized the importance of effective  cooperation with the EBRD, which is largely aimed at improving  infrastructure in Armenia.

It should be noted that, according to its September forecast, the  EBRD expects Armenia's GDP growth to reach 4.5% by the end of 2026.

Since its operations in Armenia in 1992, the Bank has invested over  EUR 2.5 billion in 231 projects in the country.
