At a meeting with a delegation led by Christos Harpantidis, Director of Corporate Affairs (Deputy CEO) of Philip Morris International, President Vahagn Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of the long-term, effective cooperation established with the company, noting that it encompasses the economic, educational, and scientific sectors.
According to the press service of the President of Armenia, Khachaturyan noted that the development of education and science, modern technologies, and artificial intelligence are priorities for Armenia. He added that these areas have received additional impetus and opportunities for unimpeded development in the context of the new realities created by the signing of the document on August 8, 2025, and the opportunities that have opened up for Armenia and the region. He expressed hope for the further expansion of the existing partnership, facilitating the implementation of new initiatives in Armenia.
Christos Harpantidis expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, noting that he was pleased to visit Armenia for the first time and participate in the "Yerevan Dialogue 2026" conference. He praised the current level of cooperation with Armenia and expressed his readiness to further develop it.
