
ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not be able to attend the EAEU summit scheduled for May 28-29. He made this announcement on May 11 during a press briefing.
According to the Prime Minister, he and his political party, "Civil Contract," will be fully engaged in the ongoing parliamentary election campaign at that time. Pashinyan noted that he had already informed the Russian President as early as April 1 regarding his inability to attend the May 9 events in Moscow. "I also told him that I would be unable to participate in the events on May 28. Yesterday, I called the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to personally inform him as well," Nikol Pashinyan said.
The upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is set to take place on May 28-29 in Astana. Armenia is expected to be represented at the session by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
