ArmInfo. Armenian manufacturers will henceforth require a certificate of country of origin to sell their products on the Wildberries e-commerce platform, according to a statement from the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
"In response to recent frequently asked questions and comments, we would like to inform you that products manufactured in Armenia (including those from the EAEU) and sold via the Wildberries e-commerce platform now require a certificate of origin. This can be obtained by applying to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia (https://armcci.am)," the Ministry's statement reads. The Ministry emphasized that for products manufactured in Armenia (including EAEU member states) that are subject to mandatory certification, a Certificate of Conformity and a Declaration of Quality are also required. To obtain these documents, producers may contact the relevant certification bodies: https://armnab.am/CertificationBodyList. .
"For other products: a certificate of origin, which can be obtained from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia, or any other document confirming the origin of the product, including an invoice, photographs, instructions for use, product description, or other supporting documents confirming that the product was manufactured in Armenia or in EAEU member countries," the statement continued. It is also noted that a customs declaration is required for products manufactured outside the EAEU.
"If you have any questions regarding documents, you can contact the Wildberries technical support center through the seller portal (https://forms.gle/dCcZpSK1zTtgX6BV7) or leave your contact phone number via the feedback form," stated the Armenian Ministry of Economy, urging that the collection of necessary documents begin early to ensure the process within the implemented system is organized as smoothly, accurately, and without delays as possible.
It should be noted that on May 1, 2026, it was reported that Russian online marketplaces Wildberries and Ozon suspended sales of goods from Armenian sellers being shipped to Russia. It was later revealed that this was due to changes in customs requirements and the necessity to provide additional documents. Several experts quickly accused Russia of attempting to exert economic pressure on Armenia due to its shift toward the West.
