Back in April, ArmInfo, citing Uzbekistan Airports, reported on the possible launch of such a flight. Flights are expected to be operated once a week on Boeing 737 aircraft. The opening of the new route is expected to strengthen tourism and business ties between Armenia and Uzbekistan. Previously, passengers on this route had to transfer in Moscow, Istanbul, and Tbilisi," Uzbekistan Airports said in a statement.
According to the RA Statistics Committee, 3,918 tourists from Uzbekistan visited Armenia in 2025, a 2.9% increase compared to the previous year.
