ArmInfo. In January-May 2026, 825,400 tourists visited Armenia, a 19.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to the Tourism Committee of Armenia, the number of tourists reached almost 200,000 in May alone. Compared to April of this year, this represents a 15.5% increase, and compared to May 2025, a 9.9% increase.
It is noteworthy that the agency did not publish data on tourist flow by country this time.
It is worth noting that the permanent leaders in tourist arrivals to Armenia are tourists from Russia, Georgia, and Iran. In particular, during the previous period (January-April), the largest number of tourist visits to Armenia were recorded from Russia (36%), Georgia (14%) and Iran (7%).
