Starting in July of this year, high-quality Armenian tomatoes to be  exported to Europe

ArmInfo. With the support of ACBA Leasing, Prom Group purchased 20 modern Volvo trucks, which will be used to export high-quality Armenian tomatoes to Europe starting in July of this year. This was announced by ACBA Leasing on its  Facebook page.

According to the source, Prom Group will export from its own farm. In  the village of Nor Yedesia in the Aragatsotn region, the company,  with the support of ACBA Bank, has built a fifth-generation  greenhouse complex covering 10 hectares, unique in the region due to  its advanced artificial intelligence technology.

The greenhouse is expected to produce 25-30 tons of premium tomatoes  per day, which will be immediately exported.

"In order to supply high-quality Armenian tomatoes to European  consumers, with the support of ACBA Leasing, we purchased modern  Volvo trucks, which will be used to export high-quality tomatoes from  our greenhouse to Europe. Since the need for export arose, we decided  to create our own logistics capabilities," says Prom Group Founding  Director Hayk Hunanyan.

The purchased trucks fully comply with high European standards and  are capable of transporting up to 22 tons of cargo, ensuring its  impeccable safety during transit. The vehicles are equipped with the  latest technical solutions. Driver comfort was a particular focus  during the procurement process.

As a reminder, Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and  Phytosanitary Surveillance) has restricted the import of all  quarantine products originating in and shipped from Armenia, as well  as transit through Russia to EAEU member states, effective June 12,  2026. The ban will remain in effect until a specific algorithm for  ensuring the safety and traceability of shipped goods is developed.
