ArmInfo. The Russian government is considering imposing a complete ban on diesel fuel exports from the country. According to Kommersant, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced this at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
Calling the situation on the Russian fuel market difficult but manageable, he said the government is taking the necessary measures to ensure the market is supplied with this raw material. In particular, the capacity of all oil refineries has been increased, repair times have been reduced, and scheduled repairs have been rescheduled.
Currently, diesel fuel exports are permitted only directly to producers.
As ArmInfo previously reported, citing the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, according to the indicative balances for 2025 signed between the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, supplies of motor gasoline from the Russian Federation to Armenia are planned at 230,000 tons, and diesel fuel at 175,000 tons.
