Armenian Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan and Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited the Military Industry Committee, where they discussed the potential for using domestic technological and military-industrial potential in the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' press service, Chairman of the Military Industry Committee Aram Jivanyan presented innovative achievements in this field, initiatives aimed at developing local companies, as well as advanced technological solutions and high-tech products developed by Armenian engineering groups and research centers.
The discussion focused on the potential for using domestic products to develop and technically modernize the operational capabilities of services subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the police, and the rescue service. The discussion also touched on areas for developing and implementing technological solutions to meet the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as expanding cooperation with local technology companies.
The most effective use of local manufacturers' potential and the expansion of the use of domestic high-tech products within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system were emphasized. In conclusion, the meeting emphasized that effective cooperation between the public and private sectors is an important prerequisite for strengthening national security, developing the domestic military industry, and increasing technological self-sufficiency.
