SRC Head: Small countries` competitiveness built on intelligent  digital solutions and effective risk management

ArmInfo. The competitiveness of small countries is built on intelligent digital solutions, effective  risk management, and strong partnerships between the state and  business. This was stated by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the RA  State Revenue Committee, during a panel discussion entitled "Evolving  Geoeconomic Realities: Armenia's Economic Sustainability," organized  by the Yerevan School of Political Studies.

According to him, interesting discussions were held on Armenia's  economic sustainability in the changing global economy, export  diversification, trade facilitation, customs risk management, and the  creation of a favorable environment for businesses entering new  markets. The State Revenue Committee has made significant  contributions to these areas, striving to develop a modern customs  and logistics infrastructure, user-friendly digital platforms for  exporters and importers, intelligent customs control, integrated data  exchange with various countries, and systems for mutual recognition  of law-abiding exporters. I am convinced that the competitiveness of  a small state is built on intelligent digital solutions, effective  risk management, and strong partnerships between the state and  business. Our goal is for customs officers to become analysts and  risk managers using modern digital technologies, and for the customs  service to become a modern institution that is fast, transparent, and  conducive to the development of foreign trade.  Such professional  discussions are an important platform for exchanging experiences,  generating new ideas, and finding joint solutions aimed at increasing  Armenia's economic competitiveness.
