ArmInfo. In the first half of 2026, 14.8% more tourists visited Armenia than in the same period in 2025. According to the Tourism Committee, the total number of tourists was
1.041 million. In June alone, growth was recorded at 0.4% to 216,200.
The lion's share of tourists are in the 35-44 age category (25%), followed by tourists aged 25 to 34 (20%), 45-54 (18%), and 55-64 (18%). (13%) and others.
Traditionally, citizens of the Russian Federation (40%), Georgia (15%), Iran (8%), as well as China, Germany, the United States (2% each), Ukraine (1.5%), France (1.3%), Italy (1.2%), India (1%), and others prefer to vacation in Armenia.
