
ArmInfo.The Ministry of Economy is ready to assist in resolving any operational challenges faced by the "Araratcement" plant, as stated by Deputy Minister of Economy Edgar Zakaryan during a visit to the cement plant. He was inspecting the organization of the production process accompanied by the company's General Director.
Addressing the resumption of operations, Zakaryan emphasized that a smooth and uninterrupted production process is vital both for maintaining industrial capacity and for stimulating overall economic activity.
Recall, employees of the Ararat Cement plant, owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, held protests on the premises, demanding the resumption of operations following investigative actions conducted by law enforcement agencies.
According to live broadcasts from the scene, a significant number of Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs police officers were stationed at the plant. The plant remained idle for four days following the investigative actions conducted at the plant on July 6.
