ArmInfo. The Federal Accreditation Service (Rosaccreditation) has suspended documents of Armenian certification bodies for the first time for 12 months since July 10.
According to a statement on the agency's Telegram channel, the suspension concerns four certificates for light industry products and a food product declaration issued by ARMTEST LLC and ARM-TEST LLC.
The reasons for this suspension are the lack of proof of sample import and the failure to provide test reports.
"The decision regarding Armtest LLC is consistent with the position of our colleagues: the organization's documents had already been suspended in Armenia by the National Accreditation Body of Armenia," the statement reads.
"We don't act selectively, but rather in accordance with clear criteria, regardless of the violator's jurisdiction. We work closely with our colleagues in the EAEU," noted Dmitry Volvach, head of Rosaccreditation.
Rosaccreditation has previously terminated the documents of 10 certification bodies in EAEU countries. This information has been sent to the Eurasian Economic Commission and the National Accreditation Body of Armenia.
