ArmInfo. A new educational center will be built in Akhuryan, Shirak Province, to serve as a green technology hub. The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on July 23.
Specifically, the center is planned for construction on a 0.52-hectare site located at 37 Marmrashen Street. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2028. The total investment will amount to 100 million drams.
As stated by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, six technology dormitories equipped with modern technologies and tools, including drones, are planned for the center. Here, women and youth from Akhuryan, as well as residents of surrounding rural communities, will be involved in information technology programs free of charge, including the creation of new products.
Program beneficiaries will also be provided with transportation if they travel to the center from neighboring communities. As a result of the program's implementation, Khudatyan noted, five startup companies are expected to be created.
