
ArmInfo.The Ministry of Economy will take all necessary steps to ensure the full, uninterrupted, and efficient operation of Araratcement. Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan made this statement during a visit to the plant.
Recalling that the enterprise has been transferred to the management of the Ministry of Economy, he announced that an interim manager will be appointed in July in accordance with established procedures. "Until then, I urge all company employees to perform their duties conscientiously and responsibly. The plant must not cease operations; on the contrary, it is necessary to ensure normal production and improve efficiency," the minister said.
According to the Ministry of Economy's press service, Papoyan toured the plant's grounds, familiarizing himself with the production process, existing facilities, and the current status of operations. The plant employs approximately 1,000 people, with a projected annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons.
During the visit, the minister also learned about the plant's problems. He instructed that a comprehensive study be conducted to take necessary measures to resolve them and ensure uninterrupted production.
