ArmInfo.The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) office, is launching the "Mass Training" program for 1,300 participants in Yerevan and the regions.
According to the ministry's press service, the implementation of the program will enable broad segments of the population to acquire modern technological skills necessary for employment and enhanced competitiveness, including digital literacy, artificial intelligence literacy, and cybersecurity skills.
Partner organizations participating in the implementation of the program include the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, the American University of Armenia Fund, the Science and Technology Foundation of Armenia (FAST), the Innovative Solutions and Technologies Center (ISTC), the "Advanced Youth of Armenia" NGO, the Innovation Center Foundation, the Technological Education Foundation, and 8.18 Consulting LLC.
The goal of the program is to comprehensively address challenges in the country related to digital literacy, the application and effective use of artificial intelligence tools, and cybersecurity through the testing of a systemic mass education mechanism. It will facilitate the rapid, continuous, and applied dissemination of emerging and in-demand digital skills among various groups of the Armenian population, promoting the swift adoption and effective application of new technologies.
