Karapetyan: While other countries work on their economic policies,  Armenian authorities are busy "hijacking" businesses

ArmInfo.  While other countries are working on their own economic policies, the Armenian authorities are busy "hijacking" businesses. Narek Karapetyan, a  member of the political council of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, wrote  about this.

For clarity, he compared the economic policies of Armenia, Georgia,  and Estonia. "Estonia is building Rail Baltic and, using the  e-Estonia platform, is easing state control over business in the  country. The state has set a goal to double the volume of the economy  in 8 years. Georgia is building a new Anaklia deep-water port and is  digitalizing and simplifying the government system. The Armenian  government has seized a businessman's gym and is discussing the  nationalization of his friend's kebab shop," Karapetyan stated.

Earlier, Armenian law enforcement agencies, upon the instruction of  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, seized a cement plant and a sports  complex in the center of Yerevan from businessman Gagik Tsarukyan,  leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party.
