ArmInfo.  Wildberries has received dozens of offers to lease logistics facilities within   Russia and abroad, with some agreements already signed. Wildberries  CEO Tatiana Kim told reporters, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"We have dozens of offers to lease logistics facilities in Russia and  abroad, some of which have already been signed. In addition, we will  soon launch the facilities we built in the countries where we  operate," she said, adding that Wildberries has been improving the  security of its warehouses daily since the very first day of the  Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks. "Our warehouses are equipped with all  available security measures. Since the very first day of the attacks,  we have been strengthening and fortifying our defense line daily,  including using engineering solutions. For obvious reasons, I won't  disclose details, but rest assured, we are upgrading our security  systems daily," Kim said. She added that, since 2024, the company has  completely overhauled its warehouse fire safety operations.  Specifically, Wildberries has established its own fire brigades and  installed new extinguishing systems across all facilities.  Furthermore, it manufactures its own components and conducts regular  training exercises. Kim clarified that approximately two thousand  personnel are ensuring security.

The founder of Wildberries also called the Ukrainian Armed Forces'  attacks on Wildberries warehouses an act of terrorism. She noted that  the marketplace's services are utilized by virtually every resident  of Russia as well as individuals in other countries, and that its  ecosystem supports entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan, Belarus,  Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and China who have likewise incurred  losses amounting to billions. "Therefore, attacks on us are attacks  on hundreds of millions of people across ten countries  simultaneously," Kim emphasized.

Recently, the company's several logistics centers have been attacked  by Ukrainian drones. According to Forbes, these drone attacks  resulted in the loss of up to 9% of the marketplace's storage  capacity, and restoration costs are projected at 33 billion Russian  rubles. While it remains unclear whether the complexes were insured,  Forbes notes that the company is financially positioned to absorb the  damage even without insurance. The situation is more severe regarding  merchant inventory, with sellers' losses estimated at a minimum of  150 billion rubles.
