ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Eleveight AI plant in Gagarin, Gegharkunik Province, which is the first artificial intelligence development plant in Armenia and the South Caucasus utilizing NVIDIA Blackwell B300 technology.
According to the government press service, Nikol Pashinyan toured the facility, familiarized himself with the technical capabilities of the data center, the current phase of expansion, and future project plans. It was noted that the investment program for the first phase amounts to $150 million, of which approximately $70 million has already been implemented. The infrastructure is designed to handle large-scale artificial intelligence computations, ranging from AI model training to business applications, as well as scientific and engineering tasks.
The plant's first phase has a capacity of 5 MW, planned to increase to 40 MW during the next expansion phase. Just one month after launch, the existing capacity is fully booked, reflecting demand from both Armenia and the international market.
It is worth noting that the Memorandum of Understanding on Innovative Partnership in Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors, signed between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the U.S. Government on August 8, 2025, authorized the export of Nvidia Blackwell B300 GPUs to the country.
Additionally, on June 1, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Armenia's Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the company, focusing on the development of the nation's artificial intelligence ecosystem, promoting innovation, building local capacity, and supporting applied programs. During Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to the facility, officials further discussed broader prospects for expanding and strengthening Armenia's burgeoning AI infrastructure.
