ArmInfo. Armenia will launch a hotel classification system assigning categories ("stars"). This was announced by Lusine Gevorgyan, head of the Tourism Committee of Armenia.
She explained that a tender had previously been announced to select a company to handle the process of classifying hotel businesses in accordance with international standards.
"We have a winner, and the process of classifying hotels and assigning stars will begin soon," Gevorgyan stated.
As a reminder, at the end of 2025, the government approved the hotel classification procedure, the criteria for assigning categories ("stars"), and the form of the qualification certificate.
