The rationale for the draft decision notes that he Republic of Armenia has been granted a tariff preference with a zero import customs duty for 300 tons of cocoa powder classified under the EAEU Free Economic Zone codes for industrial use. The decision establishes the validity period of the tariff exemption for goods imported into Armenia, running from the date the resolution enters into force through December 31, 2026, inclusive.
Customs duty exemptions will be granted to economic entities exclusively upon presentation of a certificate confirming the intended use of the imported goods, issued by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
