ArmInfo. The Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia announces the resumption of direct flights from Sofia to Yerevan and Sofia on November 7, 2026.
"The launch of this flight is the result of the efforts of Ambassador Nikola Nikolov and the exceptional support of Captain Yanko Ivanov, representing GullivAir," the Bulgarian Embassy posted on Facebook. It is noted that this flight opens new opportunities for direct contacts between citizens of Bulgaria and Armenia, as well as for the development of bilateral cooperation in business, culture, sports, tourism, and other initiatives and programs of mutual interest. "Ambassador Nikolov expresses his sincere gratitude to the Bulgarian institutions for their understanding and support in intensifying bilateral relations with the Republic of Armenia. The restoration of direct flights between Sofia and Yerevan is an important step towards deepening contacts between the two peoples and opens up new opportunities for developing and strengthening bilateral dialogue," the Bulgarian Embassy added.
