
ArmInfo. RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan held a meeting with the heads of Armenia's diplomatic missions as part of the annual seminar for heads of diplomatic service.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, during the meeting, the minister presented the key indicators of Armenia's economic development, as well as the key priorities and planned economic policy programs of the RA government for 2026-2031. Gevorg Papoyan emphasized the importance of diplomatic missions' active participation in advancing the economic diplomacy agenda, particularly in identifying target investors, manufacturers, international brands, and technology partners in accreditation countries, establishing direct business ties with them, and presenting Armenia's investment and production opportunities. The focus on manufacturing orders, technological cooperation, and long-term partnerships with Armenian companies was also emphasized.
The Minister emphasized the important role of diplomatic missions in identifying new markets and business partners for Armenian products, expanding the geography of exports, and positioning Armenia as a reliable investment and manufacturing partner.
Gevorg Papoyan also touched on planned steps to improve the investment climate, emphasizing the importance of creating an attractive, transparent, and stable investment climate, expanding the scope of international investment agreements, attracting targeted investments, and establishing specialized industrial zones and logistics centers.
Other issues on the economic policy and international economic cooperation agenda were also discussed.
