ArmInfo. A PROFAL glass processing plant has opened in Armenia: $20 million was invested in the construction and acquisition of modern equipment.
According to the Ministry of Economy's press service, the total area of the plant is 120,000 square meters, of which 17,000 square meters are allocated for glass production and storage. Over the next two years, the production area is planned to increase to 40,000 square meters.
With the commissioning, glass processing capacity is expected to increase approximately fivefold, to over 40,000 square meters per month. The company's products are sold both domestically and internationally, particularly in France, the UK, the US, and other countries.
According to the source, the new plant meets high European and American standards and is equipped with modern production equipment.
The company also took advantage of government support instruments. Seven leasing agreements were concluded under the program, resulting in a state interest rate subsidy of 227.3 million drams.
Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan visited the new plant and learned about its technical equipment, production capabilities, and the company's strategic export plans.
PROFAL has been operating in the Armenian market for approximately 25 years. The company has implemented over 30,000 projects in Armenia and abroad, collaborating with over 10,000 local and international partners. Its staff exceeds 500.
