ArmInfo. Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan held a brief meeting with Sangbu Kim, World Bank Vice President for Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, as part of the 15th Annual Investment Forum held in the UAE.
The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the areas of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
According to the Ministry of Economy's press service, they also touched upon initiatives and ongoing investment programs being implemented in Armenia with the technological support of NVIDIA.
As a reminder, a large data center focused on high-performance computing for artificial intelligence (AI) has been built in Hrazdan with the technological support of NVIDIA. In the first phase, the AI factory was equipped with over 6,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. By 2027, their number is planned to increase to 70 thousand. In the first stage, investments amounted to $500 million, the total volume could reach $5 billion.
