ArmInfo. In Armenia, from January to July 2026, the volumes of virtually all alcoholic beverages produced in the country increased, with the exception of vodka, liqueur, and whiskey. This is evidenced by data from the RA Statistics Committee.
In particular, the annual dynamics of wine production improved from a 35% decline to a 26.4% increase, amounting to 4.2 million liters. Sparkling wine (champagne) volumes also increased by 21.6% (versus a 0.1% decline a year ago), reaching 652,700 liters.
Cognac volumes reached 8.4 million liters, also showing a 14% increase from a 32.9% decline a year ago.
Beer production volumes reached 22.5 million liters, accelerating their year-on-year growth from 11.8% to 18.8%.
At the same time, vodka, liqueur, and other spirits production began to decline, down 16.9% year-on-year (versus an 11.6% increase a year ago), reaching 742,100 liters.
Whiskey production continued to decline at an accelerating rate, from 23.6% to 40.8%, amounting to 1 million liters.
