ArmInfo. On September 8, RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a delegation led by VISA Regional Director for Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Tarik Mahmud.
According to the government's press service, the meeting discussed programs implemented by Visa in Armenia and an exchange of views on possible new areas of cooperation in Armenia.
Tarik Mahmud expressed satisfaction with Armenia's banking system, as well as the government's policy on developing cashless circulation.
In the context of the reduction in cash circulation, the Deputy Prime Minister, in turn, emphasized the importance of reducing fees for cashless payments through POS terminals and called for discussions with partner banks on scenarios for reducing these fees.
