ArmInfo. Armenian-Polish business and investment discussions and meetings took place today at the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as part of the visit of Polish Foreign Ministry State Secretary Marcin Bosacki to Armenia.
The participants focused on expanding foreign trade, presenting Armenia's investment opportunities, and prospects for deepening bilateral economic cooperation.
In his welcoming speech, RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Vahan Kostanyan emphasized the symbolism of the meeting: “This is the first event organized by our ministry with the business community under its renewed mandate.” Previously, we operated as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and now we operate as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, which imposes broader responsibilities on us and simultaneously opens up new opportunities for interaction with the businesses of our partner countries.
The diplomat noted the steady growth of trade turnover between the two countries: in 2025, it reached approximately 19 million euros, demonstrating a net increase of 12 million euros in just one year.
Vahan Kostanyan specifically highlighted Warsaw's friendly stance this year, when Armenia faced economic difficulties in exporting its products. "In recent months, when Armenia faced certain difficulties in exporting domestic products, particularly agricultural ones, Poland was one of the first countries to offer its support, and the Polish market opened up to Armenian farmers," he noted.
The official part of the event evolved into bilateral B2B meetings. The platform brought together approximately 40 Armenian and Polish companies representing key economic sectors: banking and insurance; mining and construction; agriculture and logistics; information and high technology.
