UATE discussed with the Ministry of Technology and Industry the possibility of implementing joint initiatives

ArmInfo. The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry discussed the possibility of implementing joint initiatives in the near future and developing new areas of cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed development priorities for Armenia's high-tech industry, the challenges facing the sector, and opportunities for expanding public-private cooperation. They discussed possible steps aimed at increasing the predictability of the investment environment, expanding cooperation with international technology companies, developing human capital, and attracting highly qualified specialists.

Minister of High-Tech Industry Davit Tadevosyan emphasized that the meeting with UATE is an important opportunity to directly hear the priorities and proposals of representatives of the technology community and to discuss new opportunities for joint development of the industry.

He noted the importance of an open, constructive, and ongoing dialogue between the state and the private sector, emphasizing that the effectiveness of industry policy largely depends on properly incorporating the professional experience and proposals of the technology community. According to the Statistics Committee, in the first half of 2026, the revenue of the information technology (IT) sector amounted to 341.1 billion drams, a 14.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
