The Armenian Ambassador discussed the TRIPP project with the head of Iranian Railways.

ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Grigor Hakobyan met with Iran's Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and Director General of Iran Railways Jabbar Ali Zakeri.

The parties discussed the infrastructure and existing opportunities of the Armenian and Iranian railway networks.

The Ambassador presented approaches to unblocking regional communications, emphasizing the potential for developing them through Armenia, increasing the efficiency of transport links, and expanding regional economic ties.

In this regard, they touched upon the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity Initiative (TRIPP). Hakobyan presented the project's main principles and approaches, including the mechanisms it provides for respecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia, as well as unblocking regional communications and stimulating economic cooperation.
