ArmInfo. On September 17, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a meeting to discuss issues related to the implementation of the TRIPP project.
According to the government press service, the meeting focused on the legal and contractual framework for TRIPP and upcoming events. The current work on the draft company charter and shareholder agreement was also presented.
Discussions regarding the project's implementation will continue in this format.
The TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) project is a transport and infrastructure initiative aimed at creating multimodal corridors across Armenia (including the Syunik region) to connect the region to international networks. The initiative focuses on the construction and development of roads, railways, oil and gas pipelines, power lines, and fiber-optic communication networks. The project is aligned with the Armenian government's "Crossroads of the World" concept and elements of the Middle Corridor. A joint venture, TRIPP Development Company, was established to implement the project. The U.S. side owns 74% of the project and Armenia 26%. According to the framework agreement, Armenia retains full territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction over the infrastructure, including border and customs control.
