ArmInfo. Compared to 2025, there are no significant deviations in the volume of Armenian agricultural exports in 2026. This was stated by RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on September 24 at a government meeting, presenting new support measures for domestic producers that were approved by the Cabinet.
According to the minister, while last year, goods worth approximately $990 million were exported to foreign markets, including August, this year agricultural goods worth approximately $943 million have already been delivered, a difference of only 5 percent. This, according to Papoyan, is a good indicator, given the restrictions Armenian exporters have faced. This was largely achieved thanks to the diversification of export destinations. For example, export volumes to the UAE increased by 46 percent, to the EU by 75 percent, and significant growth was also observed in other destinations. The only market to which shipments have recorded a significant decline is the Eurasian Economic Union.
Based on the need to continue the export assistance program, it is proposed to allocate an additional 4 billion 590 million drams to compensate exporters for August of this year.
