ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Republic of Armenia is implementing a program to raise awareness and support the dental services sector. This was stated in a statement by the agency.
According to the source, the SRC, emphasizing the importance of developing a culture of voluntary tax discipline among taxpayers, has initiated and is implementing an unprecedented event since 2026, introducing a new approach based on prevention and awareness-raising, which differs from traditional tax control tools. This time, large-scale information and educational work is being carried out in companies providing dental services. The project managers are confident that tax discipline begins with awareness, dialogue, and mutual trust.
It is worth noting that the SRC is currently implementing a similar large-scale preventative awareness-raising and support program in the hairdressing and cosmetology services sector. The goal of the program is to help businesses correctly apply tax requirements, use an informational and partnership approach instead of fines, reduce tax risks, and improve discipline. In the initial stages, inspectors explain to entrepreneurs the mandatory issuance of cash register receipts (CSR) after each service and the proper registration of employees.
