"On June 15, I invited graduates of the world's leading universities to contribute to the public administration system of the Republic of Armenia by sharing their knowledge and professional experience. Today, we can summarize the results of the first stage of the "State Personnel Bank" program. A total of 1,141 applications were received. Based on the results of their review, interviews, and professional assessment, 269 candidates from 29 countries were included in the State Personnel Bank. The average age of the selected candidates is 33.3 years old, with women accounting for 42 percent. According to available data, approximately 93 percent of the candidates are of Armenian descent, and 7 percent are specialists of non-Armenian origin. "In other words, not only our compatriots from the diaspora have joined the program, but also foreign specialists interested in professional cooperation with Armenia," the RA Prime Minister noted.
He added that to date, positive decisions on hiring or appointing more than 30 candidates have been made, and 16 of them have already been appointed to high-ranking government positions, including deputy ministers, committee heads, and other senior positions. Pashinyan emphasized that the government already has a closed electronic platform through which ministries and other government agencies can study the professional profiles of candidates and promptly contact specialists who meet their needs. The personnel database will continue to function and be expanded. The next stage of the program is planned for 2027. "I would like to thank all 1,141 participants who applied to participate in the program for their interest and trust in the initiative," the head of state concluded.
