
ArmInfo. Armenia and Turkmenistan discussed opportunities to expand trade, economic, and investment cooperation, Armenian products, and intensify business ties. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, citing the results of a meeting between Minister Gevorg Papoyan and Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Mammetguly Astanagulov.
The parties also discussed the potential for realizing existing opportunities in various areas of cooperation and identifying new prospects.
Papoyan and Astanagulov emphasized the importance of intensifying practical ties and implementing mutually beneficial joint projects.
According to Customs data, in the first half of the year, the customs value of goods exported from Armenia to Turkmenistan increased by 77.8%, exceeding $25 million.
The customs value of imported goods increased significantly, reaching only $1.8 million.
