
ArmInfo. An additional 1.153 billion drams will be allocated to continue the co-financing program for subvention projects. The decision was made at a government meeting on October 8.
Presenting the project, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan noted that co-financing will be provided based on applications submitted by 13 communities. This applies to a total of 27 subvention projects. The funds will be transferred to regional administrations for subsequent financing of programs implemented in the communities. One program is planned for implementation in the Ararat region, eight in the Armavir region, two in the Gegharkunik region, three in the Lori region, one in the Kotayk region, one in the Syunik region, and seven in the Tavush region. Thus, taking into account the funds allocated from the state budget, the total cost of co-financing programs for 2026 will amount to 13.165 billion drams.
It should be noted that in order to develop the economic and social infrastructure of communities, the process of providing subsidies to communities was initiated in 2018. In 2022, 363 subsidy programs were reviewed and approved at meetings of the interdepartmental commission for evaluating applications for subsidies, 273 in 2023, 242 in 2024, and 204 in 2025. These applications are primarily aimed at capital investments in communities, in particular: improvement of streets, parks, gardens, playgrounds, construction and reconstruction of community buildings, cultural centers, kindergartens, event halls, construction and reconstruction of water supply and sewerage networks, laying water supply lines, gasification of populated areas, reconstruction of common property of apartment buildings using energy-saving technologies.
