Gevorg Papoyan received the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey

ArmInfo. On October 16, Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli on the sidelines of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17). Deputy Economy Minister Arman Khojoyan also participated in the meeting.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Economy's press service, the parties discussed the opportunities that will arise from the establishment of direct trade between Armenia and Turkey. They also touched upon procedures related to the transportation and transit of goods subject to sanitary and veterinary control.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of other economic issues of mutual interest.
