ArmInfo. IDBank and Idram summarized their participation at COP17 alongside their partners, presenting a number of key initiatives in the fields of sustainable development and biodiversity.
In collaboration with the "Armenia Tree Project" Charitable Foundation and the Matenadaran, IDBank marked the beginning of the establishment of a biodiversity park adjacent to the Matenadaran by planting its first plane tree.
According to Mher Abrahamyan, Chairman of the Executive Board of IDBank, environmental issues require a long-term commitment.
"Supporting environmental initiatives is among IDBank’s strategic priorities. By presenting various environmental projects alongside our partners, we demonstrate our commitment to achieving tangible results and building a green and sustainable Armenia for ourselves and for future generations," noted Mher Abrahamyan.
With the support of Idram and IDBank, the "Forest Biodiversity: An Immersive Experience" exhibition by the "My Forest Armenia" NGO presented the forest ecosystem using advanced technologies.
The companies also supported the hosting of the "Climate Change and Women" award ceremony. Each winner in the seven main categories received idcoin equivalent to AMD 300,000 to support the development of their environmental projects.
Idram and IDBank, in collaboration with the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), the "Women in Climate and Energy" (WiCE) NGO, and the "KiteLab" science communication company, hosted a panel discussion titled "AI4Biodiversity: Can Artificial Intelligence Become a Game Changer for Implementing the Global Biodiversity Framework?"
The companies' participation in COP17 was another step toward a single goal: to continue channeling resources and technological capabilities into environmental protection and the creation of a sustainable ecosystem.
