ArmInfo. Armenia plans to construct a new nuclear power plant before the current one expires in  2036. The new plant, based on preliminary estimates, is expected to have a capacity of 400-600 MW. This assessment is being conducted to determine the feasibility of secure and reliable storage of RAW at the Armenian NPP site as part of the extension of its service life until 2036.
