Thus, the growth in the loan portfolio by 28% per annum, reaching 6.5 trillion ($16.7 billion) has contributed to a 21% annual increase in the total net profit of banks, amounting to 100.6 billion drams ($256.9 million). ArmInfo. From April 14 to 18, 2025, there were four dollar transactions and an equal number of ruble transactions in the Armenian interbank foreign exchange market. However, there were no euro transactions during this period. As a result, the weekly trend for dollar transactions shifted from a 13% growth to an 8% decline, while ruble transactions which had the same volume as the previous week, increased by over 2 times. This led to a decrease in the dominance of dollar transactions over ruble transactions from 2.8 to 1.2 times in terms of total volume.
