This is evident  in the 29%  annual increase in the loan portfolio  reaching  6.9 trillion ($18 billion) and the total net profit of banks rising  17% per annually to 200.7 billion drams ($522 million), according to  data from  the Express Ranking of Armenian Banks as of 30.06.2025,  prepared by the Investment Company ArmInfo.

ArmInfo. In the Armenian interbank foreign exchange market,  there was a decrease in both dollar and ruble transactions from July 14 to July 18, 2025. Euro transactions have not been conducted for almost two months. Specifically, the weekly trend for ruble transactions reversed from a 2-fold increase to a 34% decline, while the decrease in dollar transactions accelerated from 40% to 73%. This led  to ruble transactions surpassing dollar transactions for the second week in a row, with the difference now  being 2.5 times compared to  the previous 1.1 times.

ArmInfo. The current situation in the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) can be attributed to investments, but it is more correct to assess the severity of the threats  in the context of energy security. Economist and head of the Alternative Research Center, Professor Tatul Manaseryan stated this during a press conference on July 18.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Technology and Industry, the document envisages enhancing cooperation in several strategic areas:  artificial intelligence, space research, digital healthcare and  biotechnology, exchange of IT specialists, and development of the  startup ecosystem.
