Minister of Economy: 99 trucks with liquefied gas enter Armenia

ArmInfo. From July 11 to 13, 99  trucks with liquefied gas entered Armenia. Armenian Minister of  Economy Gevorg Papoyan shared this information on his Facebook page.   It was previously reported in Armenian media that more than 50 trucks  with liquefied gas were unable to pass through the Stepantsminda  checkpoint (Upper Lars checkpoint) into Armenia due to new  restrictions imposed by the Georgian customs service. As the drivers  reported at the time, the authorized bodies of Georgia did not  provide specific reasons and official explanations for this decision.

Rosselkhoznadzor to negotiate with competent Armenian agency on Armenian flower supply issues

ArmInfo. On July 14, at the  request of the Armenian side, Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Yulia  Shvabauskene, will hold talks via video link with Head of the Food  Safety Inspectorate of Armenia, Tigran Petrosyan.  As reported by the  press service of Rosselkhoznadzor, the discussion will focus on  violations of phytosanitary requirements in the supply of flower  products from Armenia to Russia, as well as the traceability of their  production and import.

In Armenian insurance market  loss ratio for OSAGO decreased to 73.3%  by July 2025

ArmInfo. In the Armenian insurance market, the loss ratio for OSAGO began to decrease in 2025, amounting to 73.3% at the end of the first half of the year (compared to 79.1% a year earlier), as evidenced by data from the Bureau of Motor Insurers of Armenia.  The decline in the loss ratio during the  reporting period was observed alongside improvements in the annual  dynamics of  several active contracts from a 1.5% decline to 7.6%  growth, with an acceleration in the growth of insurance premiums from  4% to 16.8%, and a decrease in the growth of compensation from 22.9%  to 6.1%. The Bureau, reported a slight  year-on-year increase of   3.5% in the number of vehicles with MTPL insurance policies, compared  to 5.6% growth previous year. In quantitative terms, by July 2025,  there were 682,083 thousand vehicles with MTPL insurance policies in  the country, but the number of active policies stood at 661,197   (excluding terminated policies - 605,408).

Yerevan Municipality records 88.5% budget performance in first half  of 2025

ArmInfo.  As of June 30 this year, according to the approved plan (from January to June), 45.1 billion drams were to be received in the budget of the Yerevan Municipality, but in fact 39.9 billion drams were collected. Yerevan  Mayor Tigran Avinyan was informed about this during a working meeting  on July 14.

In Armenian interbank foreign exchange market, dollar transactions decreased while ruble transactions increased from July 7-11, 2025

ArmInfo. In the Armenian interbank foreign exchange market, there was a decrease in dollar transactions and a significant increase in ruble transactions from July 7 to July 11, 2025. Euro transactions have not been conducted for over a month.  Specifically, the weekly trend for ruble transactions shifted from a 48% decline to a 2-fold increase, while  dollar transactions went from a 3.5-fold increase to a 40-% decline. As a result, ruble transactions began to surpass dollar transactions again, but only slightly - by 1.1 times. Just a week prior,  dollar transactions had exceeded ruble transactions by 3.2 times.

Seven organizations from Armenia to resume flower supplies to Russia
