RA Tourism Committee, South Caucasus Railway combine efforts to develop tourism

ArmInfo. The Tourism Committee of Armenia and South Caucasus Railway CJSC (SCR) intend to work together to increase the tourist attractiveness of Armenia. This was  reported by the press service of the Committee, citing the results of the meeting of the head of the tourism department Lusine Gevorgyan with the General Director of SCR Alexey Melnikov and the head of the Passenger Transportation Directorate of SCR Grant Mikaelyan. In particular, they discussed the possibilities of implementing marketing campaigns, jointly preparing advertising and information  materials for tourists.

Minister: 69 trucks with Armenian cognac heading to Russian border

In Armenian interbank foreign exchange market, dollar transactions decreased, while ruble transactions increased June 23 to June 27, 2025

ArmInfo. On the Armenian interbank currency market, there has been  a decrease in dollar transactions and a significant increase in ruble transactions. Euro transactions have not been conducted for a month. Specifically, the weekly trend for ruble transactions shifted from a 73.3% decline to a 5.3-fold increase, while dollar transactions went from a 2.3-fold increase to a 41% decline. As a result, ruble transactions are now prevailing over dollar transactions  by 2 times, whereas just a week ago, dollar transactions were ahead of  ruble transactions by 4.3  times.
