ArmInfo.  Next year, Armenia will host the prestigious international wine competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB). This announcement was made in Yinchuan, China, where CMB -2025 took place. The event was attended by the  Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, and the head of the Vine and Wine Foundation (VWFA), Zaruhi Muradyan. In 2026, over 400 guests from various countries of the world will come to Armenia, including wine experts, sommeliers, buyers, importers, journalists, bloggers, teachers, etc.

The RA Government, NVIDIA, Firebird and Team Group will join forces to create the most powerful supercomputer and data processing center in the region based on artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this on June 12 at a  regular government meeting.

ArmInfo. In the banking sector of Armenia, the regulator continues to tighten the standards for capital buffer indicators. Thus, from May 1, 2025, the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia increased the countercyclical capital buffer (CCB) from 1.5% to 1.75% of risk- weighted assets, as well as the capital conservation buffer (protective) from 2% to 2.5%. It is known  that an additional capital buffer of 1.5% is already in effect for  systemically important banks. This is noted in the annual report of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia "Financial Stability 2024".

ArmInfo.  Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Oksana Abrahamyan received a delegation from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Estonian Center for International Development (ESTDEV). The delegation was headed by Director of the Development Cooperation  Department of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ingrid Kressel and Director of Digitalization of ESTDEV Andres Arema. The Government of the Republic of Armenia, NVIDIA, Firebird, and Team Group will collaborate to build the region’s most powerful Supercomputing Hub and data processing center, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

ArmInfo.  An artificial intelligence plant worth $500 million will be constructed in Armenia. RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan posted this information on his Facebook  page.  

ArmInfo. Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC),  received Ruslan Davydov, Minister for Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission  (EEC). According to the SRC press service, the meeting focused on the current cooperation in customs regulation within the EAEU and the potential for its development. The parties discussed the implementation of several planned initiatives, including improvements to the existing legal framework.

ArmInfo. In 2024, Armenia exported  144,540 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables, an increase of 8.4% from 2023. Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Arman Khojoyan, who oversees the agricultural sector, announced this while addressing questions from parliament members.

ArmInfo. Since April 2025, Armenian exporters of alcoholic beverages have completed 557 customs declarations. Of these, 391, or 70% have been  accepted by the destination country's customs  for clearance. Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Arman Khojoyan, provided this information  in response to  questions from parliamentarians in the National Assembly  on June 11.
