ArmInfo. Employees of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) have uncovered a case involving the use of counterfeit tax invoices totaling approximately 3.4 billion drams,  the SRC press service reported.

ArmInfo. Tabriz - Yerevan flights will resume on August 20 after a two year break.  Mohammad Ali Nael Karamaleki, Director General of East Azerbaijan   Airports, told the Iranian publication Aftab News.

ArmInfo. Armenia's gross agricultural output in the first half of 2026 suffered a double-digit decline of 10.2% (versus 7.3% growth a year ago), reaching 345.1 billion drams. This is according to data from the RA Statistics Committee.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government plans to construct or overhaul approximately 40 bridges between 2026 and 2031, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced  during an inspection of the newly renovated Kievyan bridge in  Yerevan, which reopened to traffic two weeks ahead of schedule. The  Kievyan Bridge, last renovated in 1995 to address drainage issues,  has been granted a 20-year warranty following the completion of its  latest overhaul.

ArmInfo. Armenia's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector recorded 12.1% year-over-year revenue growth in the first half of 2026 (compared to  12.6% growth in H1 2025), reaching AMD 622.4 billion ($1.6 billion),  according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenia's service sector accelerated its annual growth to 11.0% in the first  half of 2026 (up from 9.8% in H1 2025), generating AMD 2.1 trillion  ($5.7 billion), according to data from the Statistical Committee of  Armenia. In June alone, the volume of services rendered increased  5.7% month-over-month, reaching AMD 415 billion ($1.1 billion).

ArmInfo.  Armenia's trade turnover reached AMD 3.2 trillion ($8.4 billion) in the first  half of 2026, with annual growth decelerating sharply from 3.9% to  0.9%, according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia. In  June alone, trade turnover increased 6.3% month-over-month, reaching  AMD 586 billion ($1.6 billion).

ArmInfo. Cargo transportation in Armenia reached 7,897.4 thousand metric tons in the  first half of 2026, with annual growth accelerating from 1.9% to  4.2%, according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.  This upturn was driven by sustained upward momentum in rail and air  freight, alongside a sharp acceleration in natural gas transit via  pipelines.

ArmInfo. Armenia's telecommunications and communications sector revenues grew 5.7% year-over-year in the first half of 2026, reaching 87.4 billion  drams, according to the Statistical Committee of Armenia. This marks  an acceleration from the 1.5% growth recorded in H1 2025 (82.8  billion drams).

ArmInfo.  Armenia's alcohol production saw broad-based growth across most categories in the first half of 2026, with vodka, liquor, and whisky remaining key  exceptions, according to data from the Statistical Committee of  Armenia. Specifically: 

ArmInfo. Armenia's power generation accelerated in the first half of 2026, recording a  10% year-over-year increase (up from 4% growth in H1 2025) to reach a  total of 5,163.7 million kWh, according to data from the Statistical  Committee of the Republic of Armenia. In June alone, power production  rose 1.6% month-over-month to 782.8 million kWh. 

ArmInfo.  Armenia's metallurgical industry achieved a 28.7% surge in the first half of  2026, marking a sharp turnaround from the 8% decline recorded in the  same period last year.
