ArmInfo.  By the end of 2025, Armenia is projected to  reach the budgeted GDP growth rate of 5.1%. The launch of the Amulsar gold mine this year may also have a positive impact on this key indicator. Armenian Finance Minister Vahe  Hovhannisyan made this statement during a press conference, in response to a question  from ArmInfo about the feasibility of the financial authorities' economic growth predictions given the downward revisions in global economic growth forecasts.

ArmInfo.  Armenia and Sweden have reached an agreement on expanding innovative, technological and investment cooperation, as well as long-term mutually beneficial cooperation. ArmInfo.  Yerevan to host forum . As reported by the press service of the Tourism Committee, the forum is being held within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Health at the initiative of the Tourism Committee.

ArmInfo. Gross international reserves (GIR) of Armenia increased by 19% per annum or $408.1 million by April 2025 (against a decline of 13.3% a year ago), reaching $3.926 billion, approaching a record $4.220 billion in August 2023. In the first quarter of this year alone, GIR increased by 7% or $242 million (against a decline of 8.3% in the first quarter of 2024), and in monthly terms, growth has been observed since February, with an acceleration in pace to a double-digit 16.5% (or $555 million) in March. This is evidenced by the data of the Central Bank of Armenia.

ArmInfo.Under the main sponsorship of AraratBank, on May 5 at 7:30 PM, an unprecedented concert by the "Artsakh" Chamber Orchestra will take place at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, featuring internationally recognized Armenian musicians. The artistic director and conductor of the orchestra is Narek Hakhnazaryan, and the soloist is world-renowned violinist Sergey Khachatryan.

ArmInfo.Armenia intends to establish an Institute of Agricultural Consultants. This  goal is being pursued by the French Development Agency's IADAAM (Irrigated Agriculture Development in Ararat and Armavir Regions) program, funded by the EU, which was launched in July 2024. This was stated by the program's director Karen Harutyunyan during an event dedicated to the completion of the educational component of the program.

ArmInfo.At the sitting of April 30, the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs debated the  draft conclusion on the substantiation of the proposals submitted by the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Cooperation Association NGO by the collective petition on the repeal of the Laws HO 340-N on Making  Addenda and Amendments to the RA Tax Code adopted by the RA NA on October 25, 2023 and HO-285-N on Amending the RA Tax Code adopted on June 12, 2024, as well as on not adopting the draft law on Making  Addenda and Amendments to the RA Tax Code (K-960- 11.11.2024- ’• -011/1) in the second reading.

ArmInfo. In March 2025, there were 782,100 income-generating jobs recorded, an increase of  41, 000  in annual terms, as reported by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.  <The absolute record for jobs was set in November 2024.

ArmInfo.The current expenses of the Armenian Embassy in the Sultanate of Oman ( residence in Muscat)  for the period from July to December 2025 will amount to about 81,967.8 thousand drams,  equivalent to $211.7 thousand.

ArmInfo. The Armenian government is changing the scopes of creditors for the program to resume operations at the Amoulsar gold mine.  The decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers on April 30.  As stated in the explanatory note to the document, the adoption of the project is conditioned by the necessity to ensure the issuance of a budget guarantee in order to  ensure the normal course of activities of <Lidian Armenia> CJSC.

ArmInfo.  On April 30, the Armenian Cabinet approved the bill <On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Asian Development Bank on Provision  of a Loan by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Sustainable and Inclusive Road Sector Improvement Project> worth 236 million euros.
